LIFE has been making notebooks, stationery, and paper goods in Tokyo since 1949, and is best known for L Writing Paper, an original paper developed specifically for a smooth, fountain pen friendly writing surface. This sticky note set pairs that paper with a faux leather cover made by Yamama Stationery, a small maker based in Arakawa, Tokyo, that's committed to manufacturing everything in Japan.

The snap closure keeps the notes from curling or catching on anything in a bag. Great for desks, planners, or anywhere you'd rather not see exposed sticky note edges.
