Mitsubishi Polycolor Pencils set of 24
Mitsubishi Polycolor Colored Pencils, Set of 24
Mitsubishi Pencil Company has been shaping the art of writing and drawing for over 130 years, founded in Tokyo in 1887 when Niroku Masaki became fascinated with Western pencils at the 1878 Paris World Fair and set out to make Japan's very first domestically produced pencil.
The Polycolor No. 7500 is their classic colored pencil line, beloved by artists, illustrators, and stationery enthusiasts for its smooth, consistent laydown and vibrant pigmentation. These are oil-based pencils that layer and blend beautifully, sharpen cleanly, and feel satisfying on paper in a way that cheaper alternatives simply don't.
The tin itself is half the appeal. That Showa-era graphic design has barely changed over the decades, and it looks just as good on a desk as the pencils feel in hand.
This set of 24 includes: White, Yellow, Chrome Yellow, Orange, Yellow Green, Green, Deep Green, Light Blue, Ultramarine, Magenta, Purple, Pink, Carmine, Red, Vermilion, Dark Olive, Yellow Ochre, Reddish Brown, Brown, Vandyke Brown, Grey, Black, Blue, and Light Orange.
