Imabari has been producing exceptional towels for over 120 years from Ehime Prefecture on Japan's Shikoku Island, and these are among their finest. The multi-layered gauze construction is what sets them apart: incredibly soft, surprisingly lightweight, and fast-drying in a way that a thick terry towel never will be.

Versatile enough to use as a hand towel, kitchen cloth, lunch box wrapper, or luncheon mat. It's the kind of thing you reach for without thinking about it. At 50 x 50cm, it travels well too.
