Chips Mug – Japanese Mino Ware Ceramic

The Chips Mug was designed with user-friendliness at its core, shaped through thousands of prototypes to achieve a silhouette that feels natural and comfortable to hold. Despite its generous 380ml capacity, it sits snugly in the hand without feeling heavy, thanks to its specially designed angular comfort handle.

Made by Mino artisan potters in Japan, each mug is crafted from Mino ware porcelain with a speckled glaze over an exposed matte clay base. The mugs are lead-free, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. Available in four colorways: Orange Splash, Navy Drop, Mustard, and Khaki Green.

We first discovered this mug in Tokyo nearly a decade ago and kept a few in our cabinet for years, reaching for them every day. When we launched Secret Canyon, there was no question, it had to be our first import from Japan. It's been a bestseller ever since.
