A set of ten origami sheets in five neon floral patterns, hand screen printed on traditional yuzen washi paper.

Shogado has been making Japanese paper goods in Kyoto since 1959, working in Yuzen, a resist dyeing technique that originated in the city centuries ago for decorating silk kimono fabric. This neon series takes that same tradition and applies it to washi paper, reworking classic Edo komon patterns, the small repeating motifs once used to signal subtle rank and taste under samurai-era dress codes, into bright, modern color.

Good for origami, card making, or any project that could use a hit of color. Comes with two sheets of each of the five designs.
