Yamato Nori Paste

Some things don't need fixing. Yamato's nori starch paste has been made using the same formula since 1899, and it remains one of the most beloved craft staples in Japan. Made from tapioca starch, it's a natural, earth-friendly paste that can be applied with the fingers — no brush required.

Ideal for bookbinding and working with thin, delicate papers, it's equally at home in scrapbooking, collage, paper crafts, and everyday stationery projects. Acid-free, non-toxic, and dries clear, with a long open time that allows for repositioning — forgiving in all the right ways. Dilute with water to adjust the consistency as needed.

The bottle is made from recycled PE, with a recycled plastic content of 70% or higher. In 2020, the design was awarded the Long Life Design Award.
